Petersfield Town FC

Aspire Coaching has been associated and coaching with Petersfield Town Juniors for over 20 years. Aspire Director, Nigel Gardner has been associated with the club as a player and coach for over 35 years.

Petersfield Town FC is a 3 Star FA Accredited Football Club run by a fantastic group of volunteers. It has teams from under 8's (year 3's) to under 16's (year 11's) as well as 3 youth teams (U18's & U23's) along with a adult men's side Petersfield Town FC 'The Rams', an adult ladies team and a veterans team for over 35's. With over 45 teams it means the club is one of the biggest in Hampshire.

Through Aspire Coaching, Nigel recruits players and organises the clubs 'Mini Football Section', with over 70 children attending the under 5's, 6's and under 7's (Years R, 1 & 2's) training on Saturday mornings during the football season. He also helps find and place players in other age groups taking a huge overall interest in the club, whilst being an active voluntary member of the clubs executive committee as Accreditation Standards Officer and Head of Mini Football

Further Information

Girls Football

Aspire has recently helped increase the girls section of the football club. The club currently has 5 girls teams from U16s to U8s and with a continuity of training younger girls on a Monday evening, so we can build a legacy by turning the girls training into teams at every age group with volunteer managers and coaches.

Futsal

We are trialling an U10s Futsal team and if successful we hope to roll this out further. Futsal is a fast paced style of indoor 5 a-side football which is rapidly growing in the UK

We also have links to Manor Colts Youth Football Club (based in Alton) currently coaching their U10 team and have contacts at Headley, Liss and Wey Valley Youth Football clubs if you are from those areas and interested. Just contact us!

Lastly, Nigel's association with Petersfield Town FC is voluntary and separate to his very busy daily coaching and running of Aspire - so please bear with him if he is slightly slower at responding, however he will get back to you.
