SCHOOL SUMMER HOLIDAYS 2020

The Plan?

2020 has so far been an extraordinary year, but we hoping things turn ordinary in time for the school summer holidays

We aren't entirely sure what we will be able to do yet, but we have made provisions in case the ordinary is possible and also if it is not

We predict to be able to run our summer holiday courses in some capacity but these will probably be with limited numbers to the facility we are using. We hope people will be able to book and children will be able to mix but there is a strong likelihood that we will create age specific groups with a limited numbers in each group and these groups won't mix on a daily basis

As things currently stand we can have a coach to a group 5 children and those children can't mix with another group of 5 and must socially distance from each other even within their group. This is difficult for us and the children but something we will do if needs must.

We may have 'Bubble' bookings where you will be responsible for getting a group of 5 children together and boo as a whole and they remain in this 'Bubble' similar to schools practice at the moment.

We will always have child safety and hygiene practices in place at all of our venues and conform to Government guidance at all times

We promise to let you know as soon as we do and bookings will go live as soon as possible. We will wait a few weeks to see if there is any relaxation to enable more children to attend

In the meantime our current plan is

MONDAY 20th to FRIDAY 24th JULY - MULTI-SPORTS AT ROGATE VILLAGE HALL - COURSE 1
MONDAY 27th to FRIDAY 31st JULY - MULTI-SPORTS AT ROGATE VILLAGE HALL - COURSE 2

MONDAY 3rd to FRIDAY 7th AUGUST - FOOTBALL AT LOVE LANE PLAYING FIELDS, PETERSFIELD - COURSE 1
MONDAY 17th to FRIDAY 21st AUGUST - FOOTBALL AT LOVE LANE PLAYING FIELDS, PETERSFIELD - COURSE 2

MONDAY 10th to FRIDAY 14th AUGUST - MULTI-SPORTS AT BURITON VILLAGE HALL - COURSE 1
MONDAY 24th & TUESDAY 25th AUGUST - MULTI-SPORTS AT BURITON VILLAGE HALL - COURSE 2

We also hope to do something at Easebourne Primary School near Midhurst for 22nd to 24th July and are at this time trying to confirm a booking with them.

Activities, Games and Challenges for Children & Adults to Try

Firstly we hope you and your families are safe, healthy and well.

Here at Aspire we have tried to remain busy and put together a set of activities that you can try at home if you are running out of ideas. There is a big variety of physical and non-physical activities, challenges and quizzes that can help educationally as well. Hopefully they give you some inspiration

We have continued to work in some of our schools delivering PE to critical and key worker children who have remained in schools. We have cleaned, tidied and organised PE sheds and school premises

We have donated the Easter Eggs we had for our holiday courses to local causes. These include West Meon Primary School pupil premium and key worker children, The Salvation Army who are donating to Home-Start Butser and the Petersfield Food Bank and we have also donated to Danny the Dinosaur who has been discoing and dancing around the streets of Petersfield.

We hope to come through this period of uncertainty and want to let you know we are here for you if there is anything else you need.

Corona Virus - Aspire Update

To answers some questions

You will all know about the Corona Virus and I am sure you all have links and advice as to what to do so will not publish these but please contact me if you do.

As a small company it could effect and impact us significantly but we are ready for the challenge.

Here is what Aspire plan to do.

We will follow Government instructions and advice efficiently and effectively as possible.

If schools close before the Easter Holidays we will look (if allowed and possible) to run some sports and games days out of Love Lane Playing Fields or Rogate or Buriton Village Halls with limited numbers available.

If there is a full lock-down and Government advice is for everyone to stay at home during the Easter Holidays then unfortunately our Easter Holiday Courses will have to be cancelled. Trust me, I do not want this to happen

For those who have paid already for an Easter Holiday Courses in advance and if they cannot go ahead, as per our terms & conditions you will be issued full credit to attend a future holiday course with Aspire and I will extended this to after school clubs in these exceptional circumstances. These will be valid until the end of 2020

Unfortunately I cannot issue monetary refunds

As usual, myself and my staff will ensure the facilities we use are as clean as possible and that we will check that children are washing their hands regularly

New Holiday Course Times

Great Courses, Great Value!!

We have extended the length of our popular Holiday Courses to start from 9am to fit more in line with a regular school day.

Courses will now be 9am to 3pm for full days and 9am to 12pm for the younger children attending half a day.

We will have the option for an 8:30am drop off for only £1 per child, per day for anyone needing to get to work earlier

There is also now the option of picking up at 3:30pm again for only £1 per child, per day for those who can't make it for 3pm.

Although we have increased the price of a full day ever so slightly to help us cover facility hire we still have these fantastic benefits of attending an Aspire Holiday Course:

Multiple Day Discounts - The more days you attend on one course the price per day drops
Sibling Discounts
Loyalty Cards - Attend 10 days get 1 day for free
School Incentive Scheme - We send vouchers to many local schools to allow children to attend a day for free for those who maybe working hard, being kind and caring, has done something really special or just deserves to come. The school can decide whoever they want.
Gifts - We give out prizes, medals for tournament winners and trophies for our course superstars on the majority of our courses and as a thank you for attending

ASPIRE'S BIG PUSH IN JANUARY & FEBRUARY

Some people find January and February are difficult months, financially and weather wise.

Here at Aspire, we have been working hard to lighten up the mood and help within the sporting community

Recently we have done the following things
- Helped set up and sponsor the kit for the Petersfield Small Schools Girls Football Squad
- Delivered the Playmaker Award to children in years 5 & 6 at Four Marks Primary School
- Launched a School Incentive Scheme, encouraging children to work hard and be kind whilst in school for a chance to win free days on our holiday courses and help with British Citizenship Values
- Financially help subsidise some children to attend our After School Clubs
- Sponsored Steep Cricket Club for the forth-coming season

School Incentive Scheme

Rewarding those who work hard

Just before the February Half Term, Aspire Coaching launched its new School Incentive Scheme. We sent vouchers to 12 local schools to reward children with a free day on one of our popular holiday courses to help aid our big push on community support.
The idea is that the schools can reward children who have been either working hard at school (not just in PE), showing determination and getting better at something they usually find difficult, being kind and caring to others, who may not otherwise get the opportunity or just for being them.
What ever the schools decide and whoever they decide upon we hope it has a positive impact on school life and community
Several children came along who had won the voucher and all had a really good time

No more cheques! We now accept over 30 payment options through our dedicated payment gateway including PayPal. You can pay on any device, whether it be Mobile, Tablet or Desktop. We will send you a receipt/ invoice immediately and you can even register to speed up your payments on your next visit.
